Consciousness is an energy field. Consciousness is a spacious plane of silence. Consciousness is a forum. Consciousness is an echo chamber. Consciousness is a seat.
The space for consciousness to reside:
This space is formed across the plane of existence from a scale above and below. There is gravity and there is light, for us. The equivalent at all scales. In science; orders of magnitude. This is the realm, the territory, the ground upon which a forum can exist. Note that such a scale of existence is the body of flowing matter in and of its own right at a higher (and lower) scale. Thus the “cosmos” is the flowing body of a larger energy entity. It is, in its entirety, a forum, a seat of consciousness.
The materials of consciousness:
It is comprised of a conducting body of flowing matter (a medium or substrate) and compatible energy that can traverse it with minimal distortion and in good time.
Examples are; light/heat/radiation in space; pressure/friction/voltage in water; sound in air; vibration in earth/dense matter. The basis is the same; relatively high spectrum energy; dense with intensity and potential variety, across an efficient conducting body.
The components of consciousness:
The energy field of consciousness is comprised of a collection of energy entities: an ecosystem. They are at least partially aware (attuned, receptive, reaction-primed) to the conversation (content) of the forum. They are a variety of bodies that sense, and store, have preferences, and express. The more diverse the breadth of the ecosystem then the more sensory range of the whole, the subtleties and the resilience of the entire system to shocks; and more attuned to mutual harmony.
Each of the entities is flickering to a certain degree their own sensory awareness into the space of the entirety; the whole. Consciousness is thus a dialogue; all the conversation of all the participants. It is also comprised of the stillness of all those who are sensing and aware and receptive of the whole and yet who are not actively expressing; awareness without form identity. Consciousness is the awareness of many smaller “minds” on one shared point. All of these entities are aware of the same space; the same bandwidth; the same frequency; and receptive to expression at this pitch.
Hive-mind awareness:
To the participants they comprise a hive mind at perception level of their scale of existence. They see they are part of a larger conversation that is playing out, in a world around them that appears mundane (atheistic, deterministic). The conversation is playing out among themselves and the participants of their scale, and there is the space between, the ground, the territory that they are within, which seems inert and relatively unchanging through vast scales of time. Certainly the territory seems unresponsive to direct communication.
Top-down consciousness:
Not just those within the forum can hear the forum. The sound of the forum travels and is sense-able by the body of the whole; the body that comprises the ground upon which the forum resides upon. Existence a scale above; and Existence a scale beneath. The vastness of that consciousness above can sense the conscious dialogue; and it knows this dialogue to be its-self, its body; the dialogue of the life matter comprising its body. The conscious dialogue seems rapid and at a higher oscillation / denser / more rapid iteration of time compared to the thought of the greater consciousness; but it is listening, and it has conscious will – a greater will – a will willed from a higher order of existence; a unified entity at a higher scale of existence. This will of God is able to transmute reality at the smaller scales – bring us to placebo effect, or rather, that mind precedes matter and can shape reality within. God is aware of all conscious dialogue, and space, and is able to will changes in reality; the reality within God; entity of the higher scale of Existence.
The thought of God:
Although the thought of God is so vast that it encompasses lifetimes of the entities forming the body of God, there is another way that God is sensed and present; Love. Love and peace are the active and passive energies of cohesion that bind the body of God; the healthy body of God. To come into harmony is to come into love; expansiveness; peace. The energy of top-down awareness and appreciation and inclusion and eternal life is within love; within harmony; within peace. This is the raw vibration of God’s consciousness at the scale of existence of the body.
We are within the body of God. Our own consciousness is God to the body within us. Consciousness and God stack through the cosmos. God is the overarching consciousness at a higher scale of Existence. This is a relative position according to the perspective taken. Thus God is ubiquitous and the self-evident reality of consciousness; to acknowledge our own consciousness is to acknowledge consciousness and the scale of Existence.
Therefore all “theism” is one; its just a case of perspective.
This post ends with the following four “great sayings” of the Upanishads to ponder.
(Brahman is the universal God consciousness)
Prajñānam Brahma (प्रज्ञानम् ब्रह्म) – “Brahman is insight”
(Aitareya Upanishad 3.3 of the Rig Veda)
Ayam Ātmā Brahma (अयम् आत्मा ब्रह्म) – “This true-self (Atman) is Brahman”
(Mandukya Upanishad 1.2 of the Atharva Veda)
Tat Tvam Asi (तत् त्वम् असि) – “You are Existence”
(Chandogya Upanishad 6.8.7 of the Sama Veda)
Aham Brahmāsmi (अहम् ब्रह्मास्मि) – “I am Brahman”
(Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.4.10 of the Yajur Veda)
In Judeo-Christian faith this perspective of God being “being” or “consciousness” in the rawest and grandest form can be inferred from the name Yahweh. The Hebrew term is translated variously as “I am that I am” or “I am who I am” and apparently underpins many entries where the English Bible translates it as “the LORD”.
